BLACKOUT POETRY

Blackout poetry is the process of selecting words from a piece of text and 'blacking out' the words that aren't wanted. Arranging what is left and applying some artistic techniques that they have learned this year, students have created their own poetic masterpieces.

ABSTRACT COLORFUL COASTERS

Sharpie markers + 91% isopropyl alcohol on porcelain tile = a really unique technique that looks like watercolor (but 100% isn't). Students had a wonderful time with this project!

WATERCOLOR FLOWERS

Inspired by techniques that illustrators use, students created colorful clusters of flowers with watercolor paint and black ink.
